Our clients can also benefit from significant savings compared with many specialized facelift practices in the United States.

So, Who Is a Good Candidate for a Facelift?

A full facelift is designed to address visible aging of the lower and mid-face, jawline, and often the neck.

Modern facelift surgery is not simply about tightening the skin. Techniques such as deep-plane facelift work with the deeper supporting structures of the face, allowing the surgeon to reposition tissues that have descended with age. The goal is not to change who you are—but to feel and reveal a younger, refreshed version of yourself.

Before surgery, you will have a detailed online consultation. The surgeon will evaluate your facial anatomy, skin quality, degree of tissue laxity, medical history, medications, previous procedures, and your expectations. Your surgeon will then recommend the most appropriate surgical approach for you.

The Day of Surgery

Before the procedure, you will meet with your surgeon to review the surgical plan and have an opportunity to ask any remaining questions.

The exact sedative anesthesia approach and length of surgery depend on the procedure and the clinic’s medical protocol (2-3 hours). Our advanced local anesthesia techniques ensure that you will feel absolutely no pain during your facelift surgery – our surgeons are trained and are using advanced techniques which allows local anesthesia.

The surgeon works beneath the skin to reposition and support the deeper facial tissues. Excess skin is then carefully redraped and removed without relying on excessive skin tension. When appropriate, a neck lift may be performed at the same time to create a more harmonious transition between the face, jawline, and neck.

Following surgery, you will be monitored during the immediate postoperative period and receive individualized instructions regarding medications, wound care, sleeping position, activity, eating and drinking, and symptoms that require contacting the medical team.

Recovery

The First 24–48 Hours

The first few days generally involve the most noticeable swelling, tightness, bruising and facial asymmetry. Some patients experience discomfort, pressure, numbness, or unusual sensations rather than significant pain, but experiences vary considerably.

Rest is important. Patients are commonly instructed to sleep with their head elevated and avoid bending, lifting, strenuous activity, and anything that could increase pressure or swelling. Prescribed or recommended medications should be taken exactly as directed by the surgeon.

Days 3–7

Swelling and bruising are still expected but generally begin to improve. It is normal for different areas of the face to heal at different rates, so the face may temporarily look uneven or feel tight.

Your surgeon will monitor your healing and provide instructions regarding incision care, showering or washing your hair, activity, and any dressings or sutures.

Many patients begin feeling considerably more comfortable during this period, although they will usually still look visibly postoperative.

For an international patient, this initial recovery period is particularly important. You will be medically ready for your return flight home, typically on Day 7.

Week 2

During the second week, bruising and swelling usually continue to decrease significantly. Many patients begin feeling more like themselves and gradually return to light daily activities. However, residual swelling, tightness, numbness, firmness, or changes in sensation can still remain.

Some patients may feel comfortable being seen socially after approximately 10 days , while others need longer. Any lingering bruising at this point is typically minimal and can be easily concealed with make up. Recovery is individual, and it is better to allow yourself additional time rather than plan around an exact date.
This is an important concept for prospective patients: the appearance at one or two weeks is not the final facelift result.

Weeks 3–4

By three to four weeks, much of the obvious postoperative swelling and bruising has typically resolved, although the face is not completely healed.

Patients often begin returning to more normal routines, depending on their surgeon’s instructions.

Incisions will continue healing, and scars may initially appear pink or noticeable before gradually fading and maturing.

Month 1-2

The face continues to settle. Areas of temporary numbness, tightness, firmness, or altered sensation will continue improving. Your results will become increasingly noticeable, revealing a significantly more youthful and refreshed appearances, delivering remarkably vibrant and natural look.

We love staying in touch with our clients after their healing process is complete,
we are thrilled to hear regarding the final transformation, and we love being able to share in their joy with the facelift results.”

……and most importantly, you never have to figure it all out on your own !
